This collection of work on paper, has evolved from sketches and memories of walking in the landscape nr Figueira, SW Algarve

The heat in early summer, the colours of the earth; The evocative abandoned fields whispering the memories of the ancient lineage of farming here. I became entranced by the layers of mans intervention, worn with time. the textures of the sun bleached fields timeless, rugged and untamed. This poetic landscapes called me in to look deeper into it's rich earth and find the colours of it soul.
