Artists notes
This collection of work on paper, was made on location the incoming tide wetting the paper and ink added, these unpredictable paintings evolved.
I am immersed in this work for days at a time, often sitting in the breaking waves moving materials as the tide comes in. Sometimes paintings were lost or spoiled due to rogue waves arriving unexpectedly. precarious work but entrancing and magical results.
